EURACS and NORACS are networks of leading independent firms of actuaries and consultants across Europe, North America and South Africa. Please visit the websites (www.euracs.eu and www.noracs.org) for information about the current members and their practice areas and other activities.
Both networks would be keen to have partners in Poland.
One option would be for our new partners to become what we call a “correspondent”- this could involve having links between our and their websites, sharing technical information, and agreeing (informally) to consider each other if our/their clients have need of advice in territories where other network members have expertise.
Another option would be for them to become a full member of EURACS, which would mean they would be entitled to attend six-monthly members meetings and technical training days when we discuss developments in our businesses, new practice areas and technical subjects of mutual interest (international accounting rules, longevity trends, the impact of financial market movements, pension and insurance regulation etc). These meetings are hosted by members across Europe, although every two years or so joint meetings are held with NORACS which alternate between Europe and North America. Full EURACS members pay a small subscription (based on the size of the member firm) to contribute towards the cost of organising the network and its meetings. There is also a slightly more formal member agreement which covers things like referrals of business and co-operating on joint tenders from time to time.

Catherine Wilding
